Human Resources
#1 Human Resource Support
Project Summary: After a merger, our client (located in Illinois) was left with no on-site human resource support. From a corporate standpoint it was thought that Human Resource needs for all divisions could be handled remotely through the new corporate offices in Houston, TX. Problems with this process started to surface quickly particularly in terms of applicant flow and recruiting. (view details)
#2 Creation of Job Description Portfolio
Project Summary: For our client, the creation of a standardized, comprehensive portfolio of job descriptions for their organization was a perpetual back burner project. The longer they waited the bigger the task became. Even though they had a sizable HR staff, the project became so big that a single individual could not handle it, but they did not want to add staff to get this project done. At the time that the client approached the Beaird Group, there were less than 100 existing job descriptions for over 250 positions. (view details)
#3 Peak Period Recruiting Support
Project Summary: Our client recently implemented a centralized recruiting process and applicant tracking system. As a part of this change, all hiring now was approved and managed by the recruiting staff in Human Resources. In the past, hiring managers had the option of working with a recruiter or coordinating the hiring themselves. (view details)

Project Summary: handling certain processes for a client’s sales department that was an overlay of their organization. Project Summary: An existing Access database (the client managed their customers with this database) was greatly in need of being updated. We have an individual on our team who had experience with client management databases and could easily make the enhancements to their existing database. She worked with the client to understand their needs and how they wanted to use the database. From there, she set forth a plan to make 20-25 updates to the database. The biggest element was to make the database more user-friendly. Now the client is using it on a daily basis and with much more ease. (view details)
