As an organization, the Beaird Group is committed to giving back to the community. We support a number of causes through donations and pro-bono work. We encourage our associates as individuals to take an active role in the community and support their involvement in schools, churches and a range of charity organizations. Mission Statement
The Children's Homestead is committed to assuring that abused, neglected and troubled children, with special health care needs, will live safely and securely with a family in a permanent place called home.
Vice President, Barb Silverman serves on Our Children’s Homestead Board of Directors. Barb has devoted countless hours to this worthy organization over the last 4 years. Beaird Group provides financial sponsorship.
3. Sarcoma Association (view site)

The mission of the Sarcoma Foundation of America is to act as an advocate for increased research to find new and better therapies with which to treat patients with sarcoma. The SFA raises its own funds to provide research grants to sarcoma researchers.
Bud’s Run remembers and celebrates the life of Bud Swanson. Bud left life here after a race against sarcoma, a rare type of cancer. Bud coached girls' cross-country at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream for 18 years.

4. Operation Support our Troops – Illinois, Inc. (view site)
This all volunteer charitable organization has sent over 12,000 "care packages" of goods to our troops in Afghanistan & Iraq, and has helped to improve the morale of troops deployed in harm’s way. The care packages contain snacks, personal care items, and letters of greeting and encouragement. In addition, OSOT-IL has supported wounded troops at Brooke Army Medical Center and with donations of DVDs, games and snack foods and has raised $100,000 to purchase vans for severely wounded troops. In 2006, OSOTIL partnered with Hines VA Hospital to financially support the expansion of their facilities to help accommodate and treat returning Iraq and Afghanistan wounded Veterans.

Mutual Ground operates a shelter in Aurora, IL for woman and their minor children who are victoms of domestic violence. Victoms are provided safety, shelter and support services while they learn that they have the power to change their lives.
Beaird Group participates in the holiday "Adopt a Family Program" and is a financial sponsor of the Mutual Ground Shelter.

Families Helping Families is a neighborhood organization, started by a Naperville mom in 1994, with the sole focus of helping homeless families in DuPage County. FHF provides apartments and supportive services to homeless families while they are working to reclaim their lives.
